In 2004 we purchased a 15 acre property just north of Erin, Ontario. It was a dream come true.
Quiet Haven Farm includes a 5 stall barn, 7 acres of forest and two paddocks for the horses. Life on the farm is never dull and the work never ends either. Summers see us clearing brush, stacking hay and cutting grass. We spend many weekends at various horse shows, either competing or volunteering. There are many trails close by for hiking or taking the horses for a hack.
Life slows down a bit in the winters. We don’t have an indoor arena so the horses get a break from work, unless we have enough snow to pull out the sleigh.
